crock pot pork tenderloin

I love the crock pot. For busy days, as long as you set aside a little time in the morning, you will be set for dinner as soon as you walk in the door. Lately, pork tenderloins have been on sale and they usually don’t easily dry out. My kids always love this meal and typically despite asking for seconds, we always have extra that make an easy lunch leftover.

Ingredients:

Pork Tenderloin (pack of 2) salt and pepper garlic powder or season salt pork rub if you have one you like bbq sauce

If you have time, I love searing the sides of the pork tenderloin in olive oil. It gives it extra flavor and adds some crispier pieces. If you do this, season with salt (and pepper if you like).

Sprinkle garlic powder or season salt lightly on the pork. If you have a rub, I love adding this to ours, but it’s not necessary.

Place in crock pot and cover with bbq sauce. (about 3/4 cup).

Cover and heat preferably on low for 6-8 hours. Or high for 3-4.

Shred with forks and return to crock pot.

We usually serve this with rice and roasted veggies.
